Many seniors suffer from social isolation, which can have many adverse effects. To combat this, Project Ezra gives our seniors an opportunity to interact with others in a supportive, stimulating environment provided by our range of daily groups.
Activities take place in our meeting space, where we offer groups on: arts and crafts, contemporary issues, health and wellness, literature, film, and Russian language discussion.
Groups become more than just a daily opportunity to talk—they also serve as a place to make and meet friends, to celebrate birthdays and other special milestones and events. As many group participants are not mobile, we pick them up and take them home in a van equipped with a hydraulic lift for wheelchair-users.
