Many seniors suffer from social isolation which can have many adverse effects. To combat this, Project Ezra gives our seniors an opportunity to interact with others in a supportive, stimulating environment provided by our range of groups.
Activities take place in our meeting space where we offer groups on: arts and crafts, jewelry, film, senior chair exercise and Russian language discussion. Groups become more than just an opportunity to talk —they also serve as a place to make and meet friends and celebrate birthdays and other special milestones and events. As many group participants are not mobile, we pick them up and take them home in our van equipped with a hydraulic lift for wheelchair-users.
